Faroairporttaxis.uk is a website promoting airport taxi services at Faro airport provided by Algarserra Lda.

What are your hours of operation?

We operate 24/7 and 365 days per year. You may make reservations at any time and in case of an emergency, contact us at any time as well. If you would like to contact us by telephone and the matter is not urgent, we ask that you do so during local regular office hours. The best way to contact us is by using the form located on the contact page as it will provide you with a copy of the information you sent in a confirmation email.

Does your company have insurance?

We meet all the mandatory insurance legislation. Passengers and their luggage are fully insured during the transportation service. We are a fully licensed private transportation company, authorized by the Portuguese board of tourism with the licence RNAVT 2198.

If for any reason within our control we fail to deliver the passengers to their confirmed destination, we will provide a suitable alternative transportation. Any reimbursement for the cost of an alternative transportation to get to the ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by normal taxi.

We are not responsible for delays before or during the transportation service caused by external reasons such as abnormal weather and traffic conditions.

What is your refund policy?

We automatically process any due refunds resulting from booking amendments or cancellations within 10 business days.

What is your smoking policy?

No smoking is allowed in our vehicles.

What is your lost & found policy?

If an object has been left behind or lost while using our services and we have found it, we will contact you requesting instructions on how to return your property. Though our drivers inspect the vehicles for any objects that may be left behind, it is the customers responsibility to make sure all personal objects have been removed from the vehicle and if there are any expenses in returning those objects, those expenses must be supported by the customer.

Are the airport taxi vehicles safe and in reasonable condition?

All of the vehicles used in our airport taxi services go through detailed inspections and are regularly maintained by certified mechanics. The vehicles are professionally cleaned and if at any time you have concerns regarding the condition and safety of the vehicle, we ask that you let us know immediately by contacting us.

Is my credit card secure?

Faroairporttaxis.uk uses PayPal for all its online transactions between customers and Algarserra Lda.
PayPal is a global payment processing website trusted by millions of Internet merchants and customers worldwide.
If you are not comfortable using your credit card online, please make your reservation and select the option to pay the driver in cash on arrival.

How can I pay for the reservation?

While booking your transfer you can choose one the following payment options:

Important!

Our vehicles are not equipped with devices capable of processing credit cards, drivers are only able to accept cash – euros only. If you wish to pay with credit card, please, do it online in advance following the link provided during the booking process.

When can I pay for the reservation?

You can pay for the reservation online when you make your reservation or pay the driver in cash.

When is the latest I can book?

If you already tried to book your transfer online and the system refused it invoking time restrictions, please contact us directly for last minute transfers.

What happens after I have paid?

After you have paid for your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation from Faroairporttaxis.uk and a confirmation from PayPal confirming the transaction. Please verify that all the information is correct and that the amount displayed on your airport taxi reservation matches the amount on your PayPal confirmation.

Yes. Please use the telephone number provided on the contact page to get in touch with our head office.

How may I cancel my reservation?

You can make amendments to your booking or cancel your transfer online at any time with no extra cost.
To do so follow the instructions present in your booking voucher.

What happens if I do not receive a confirmation email?

If you do not receive a confirmation email after you have made a reservation, check your email account spam folder and if you still have not received it after one hour, use the contact form and let us know you do not have a confirmation email. We will confirm all of the details of your reservation manually and send you the details.

Billing & Payments

What does the quoted price include?

The quoted price includes transportation of passengers and luggage according to the reservation made on the website and its Terms of Service.

Are your prices per person or per vehicle?

All prices shown are per transfer vehicle not per person. All transfers are private, not shared – we do not operate as a shuttle service.

May I pay the airport taxi driver at Faro airport?

Yes, you may pay the airport taxi driver at Faro airport and please make sure you provide the payment in Euros.

Where do we meet our driver at the airport?

Airport Transfers

After you leave the luggage collecting area at the airport, the driver will be waiting at the arrivals hall holding a sign with the lead passenger name.

Train / Bus Station Transfers

The driver will be standing next to your arrival lane or at the station exit, holding a sign with the lead passenger name.

Cruise Terminal / Harbour Transfers

The driver will be standing near the ship exit or at the harbour exit, holding a sign with the lead passenger name.

Transfers from Your Accommodation

The driver will be at your hotel / resort reception or private villa door at the specified pickup time.

Are baby & booster seats provided on all airport taxis?

Children under 12 years old must travel on appropriate safety seats and you can request baby seats and booster seats during the booking process.

Passengers With Disabilities

Do you have wheelchair adapted vehicles?

To fit properly in our vehicles we can only transport personal wheelchairs with folding or collapsible frames. Please inform us if you need to transport wheelchairs in the the booking process. Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility must be capable of boarding the vehicle independently or with the assistance of those in their party or the driver.
